The
Director of Search Engine Marketing is responsible for
maximizing the sales and profitability of the Search Engine
Marketing channel globally. Manages $10M+ SEM budget. The
ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of Search
Engine Marketing, is a proven leader, and has a track record
of delivering great results in a direct marketing environment.
Defines, and implements the SEM strategy, including strategic
vision, technology enhancements, and product roadmap. Develops
bidding and optimization strategies/algorithms to maximize the sales and efficiency
of the channel. Oversees the daily/weekly/monthly management of SEM campaigns,
managing to channel KPIs. Pursues conversion gains through landing page testing,
promotions and other key variables. Develops channel sales and cost forecasts,
with accountability for an 8 digit marketing cost budget. Partners with head
of SEO channel, leveraging technical expertise in the development of technology
enhancements and tools for SEM
Job Requirements:
8-10
years marketing experience including online marketing experience
managing large SEM campaigns. In-house or agency experience
is OK as well. Strong analytical skills is driven by data,
and can perform, interpret and act upon complex analyses |
