Our
client is a well known player in the B2B, E-commerce space
and develops and markets enterprise-wide managed file transfer
and EDI solutions that are built to scale for global 2000
enterprises, ASPs, and VAN service providers. Their comprehensive
solutions enable secure, seamless trading relationships
between customers and their customers, suppliers, partners
and more within the Financial Services, Supply Chain/Logistics,
Government, VANS, ASPs sector .
We are
currently seeking experienced EDI Analyst to join the Professional
Services Organization in the West Region (San Diego, CA).
The EDI Analyst provides mapping services to new and existing
customers, including setup, implementation and testing.
Performs Data Mapping of transactions between customer
systems and company. Responds to customer problems and
questions within established customer support guidelines
and escalates issues as necessary. Maintains established
Service Level Agreements (SLA) and a high level of customer
satisfaction for all service levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs
Data Mapping of transactions between customer systems and
company products Supports New Customer Sales
process in the area of EDI data mappings, capabilities and
implementation processes Provides technical
leadership and direction to other mappers and analysts on
implementation projects Tracks deliverables
on a project to ensure on-time implementation and delivery Manages
project resources including internal and supplemental staff
to ensure overall quality of deliverables Provides
mapping on Company MFT and EDI products for customers Collaborates
with internal development and documentation departments to
create product documentation Proactively contacts
customers to alert and resolve identified problems; reacts
and resolves customer-initiated problems Assists
in the quality assurance process to improve product quality
and ensure implementation of high quality product features
and functions Mentors and develops more junior
mapping specialists through hands-on training and reviewing
and providing feedback of work
QUALIFICATIONS: 5
years' technical support experience with at least 3 years'
experience working with customer interfaces and previous
MFT, EDI products such as: Sterling, Gentran, Messageway,
Inovis knowledge/experience Knowledge of infrastructure
associated with EDI processes, hardware, communications option,
and protocols The ability to work with application
owners to understand data requirements of individual systems. Must
be self-motivated and self-directed, and have the ability
to determine priorities and organize tasks. Strong
written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Independent and critical thinking skills. BS
