The Compliance / Change Management Position
plays a key role in driving and continually improving the
global processes needed to keep company an innovative and
competitive organization. The role requires a compliance
program manager with a drive for assisting in defining and
maintaining global compliance (Sox, FDA, and ISO) and Change
Management processes within the IT team environment. Responsibilities:
- Responsible
for managing the day-to-day function of the IT Sarbanes-Oxley
(SOX) compliance efforts, including coordination of resources,
review of work, ensuring test results are properly documented
and issues are appropriately raised & resolved.
- Facilitate third-party corporate audits, FDA/FDB, ISO
and other regulatory agencies. Represent IT with external
agencies including Sox, FDA, ISO and customer auditing
groups.
- Monitor changes to process documentation (narrative,
control matrix) including risk monitoring.
- Work with IT management to establish and maintain change
management practice within IT.
- Work
closely with the internal & external audit team,
operational management and business owners to coordinate
the audits and bring to resolution any issues that may
impede the company's ability to be in compliance.
- Proactively identify gaps or conflicts or areas of improvements
in existing processes and develop scalable solutions.
- Communicate control weakness to process owners and senior
management and prioritize remediation based on risk.
- Prepare status reports to IT senior management
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of overall experience with an organization comparable
in size including 4+ years of relevant internal controls
audit experience
- Experience and understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
including experience in defining and implementing IT General
Computer Controls (GCC) is required.
- Experience and understanding of ISO and FDA audit regulations
is highly desired.
- Experience related to Change Management governance is
required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT technical background
- Strong analytical and research skills, detail-oriented
- Strong computer skills (especially word, excel, PowerPoint)
- Project Management experience (experience in managing
software/IT application projects) is required
- Should be process oriented, ability to work with others,
to lead and affect process change and improvements
- Experience working with ERP applications is preferred.
