The Sr.
Manager of Infrastructure and Operations will be responsible
for the following aspects of Infrastructure and Operations
including server, network, data center, corporate help
desk, and production support for domestic and international
websites, corporate infrastructure and applications. Current
Microsoft centric environment consists of over 300+ servers
in two co-locations operating 24x7 and growing. Will lead
the day to day monitoring and support 24x7 of all infrastructure
components. Develop and monitor metrics to measure performance
and availability and make necessary improvements Evaluate
current IT infrastructure and identify technologies and
manage projects designed to improve security, scalability
and reliability of the overall environment. Provide technical
leadership, recommend, design, and implement global technology
infrastructure projects in LAN/WAN, telephony, networking,
Windows, Messaging, Help Desk, server management, etc.
Job Requirements:
Requires:
5-7 years in IT with at least 2-3 years as an IT Manager
supporting a high traffic, E-commerce Production environment
and 2-3 years data center management experience. Experience
supporting Ecommerce / ASP hosting environment. Hands-on
knowledge of: VMWare ESX 3.0, Microsoft technologies
- Exchange 2003, SQL 2000/2005 , Windows 2003, SMS, MOM,
Group Policy, Active Directory, Citrix Presentation Server
/ Metaframe and related thin-client technologies, industry
standard firewalls (Juniper experience preferred),
industry standard layer 2 switches (Cisco and 3 com experience
preferred), industry standard layer 4-7 load balancing
(Netscaler experience preferred) |
